Sanskrit

HTCI offers free Sanskrit classes to HTCI members, on Sundays from 9:15 am to 10:30 am for Children and Adults.

This program is based on guidelines set by SamkskritaBharati USA focused on connecting our Sanskriti with Sanskritam. Classes are conducted by trained SamskritaBharati volunteers. No prior knowledge of Sanskrit is required to enroll into adults or children’s program. Adults program emphasis on spoken Sanskrit. Children’s program includes reading and writing the Devanagri lipi, emphasis on learning spoken Sanskrit with shlokas, stories and songs. Children classes are available for kids aged 4 and above. Children from Sanskrit school participate in temple organized cultural and special religious programs through Sanskrit shlokas, songs/bhajans and plays.

Classes are conducted Sundays from 9:15 – 10:30 AM. If for any reason classes are not available in person, online classes are conducted via online conferencing.

Enrollment to any of the classes is open throughout the year.

Who can enroll:

Kids aged 4+

Adults with knowledge of at least one Indian language
